Cat is a Limited License Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology of Health from the University of Michigan. With over 15 years of experience in both outpatient and residential settings, Cat supports adults navigating complex emotions, early life challenges, life transitions, identity development, self-discovery, and substance-related concerns.
She approaches counseling with warmth, collaboration, and compassion, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. Cat is deeply attuned to the ways culture, family values, and personal experiences shape emotional well-being, and she strives to provide care that is culturally responsive and honors each client’s background and beliefs. She believes every individual has the capacity to cultivate resilience, insight, and healthier coping strategies when provided with the right guidance and support.
In her free time, Cat enjoys reading, working out, preparing healthy meals, creating art, traveling, and spending time in nature.
